1. Three colleagues and I employed Adele Campher (“Adele”) as a full-time
legal secretary from March 2014 to September 2015.
2. Prior to joining us, Adele was a legal secretary in an attorneys’ firm.
3. During her time with us, Adele adapted quickly to the differences
between an attorneys’ practice and our practices as advocates. She
proved to be well organised and quickly took charge of our practices, for
the better.
4. She demonstrated good communication skills and was accomplished at
liaising with our attorneys and service providers.

5. Working with four advocates with different stylistic requirements must
have been quite a challenge for Adele. She met that challenge head-
on. She exhibited an eagerness to learn and to accommodate our
idiosyncrasies. She accepted correction well and never grew gloomy
when presented with the numerous redrafts and revisions that members
of our profession tend to make to our documents.
6. On a more personal note, Adele has a lovely disposition and it was a
pleasure having her in our chambers. Her nature is to go beyond what
is expected of her, and to do so with a smile and a cheer.
7. Adele will be an asset to any employer and I recommend her for any
endeavour she chooses to pursue.
