• Automation and IT: As technical Head automated Embarkation HQ, Mumbai (a tri-service
organization) established a metro network at Mumbai connecting multiple locations with multiple
servers and rolled out Automation software’s. Network had five locations with about 10 Servers
and 45 technicians. The job also required training of over 1000 personnel on the systems.
• Operations Management:
o As functional head (Army Static Fixed Communications network - ASCON) managed the
admin ,security, training and operations of large number of establishments spread over
40 Sq Kms of Rajasthan Border area. A team of 45 Managers and 90 Junior Managers
and 100 skilled technicians. The job required rollout of about 800 KMs of Optical fibre
cable which required close interaction with Border Roads organisation, highway authority,
railways, district Administration and establishment of large number of Communication
Centers in the border areas, Rajasthan and Gujrat .
o Managed signals equipment & manpower in J&K for interception, analysis of Signal
Intelligence & reporting to HQ for conduct of military operations, with about 50
interception centers and 1000 + workforce. Required close interaction with the telecom
service providers, intelligence agencies, police and Min of Home Affairs.
o As Senior Manager, ASCON: managed Telecommunication (Fixed line and data) for
entire Punjab & part Rajasthan border area. Coordinated with team of 45 managers, 200
Junior Managers and 3000 on-ground skilled technicians. Was also responsible for
dynamic allocation of voice and data connectivity to static, mobile field organisations
operating in Punjab, part of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.

o E2E management for proposal, planning, procurement and implementation of signals
