INTRODUCTION
• Rapid Increase in number of on road cars in united states each year
• Results in increasing number of road accidents and heavy traffic
• Needs for safer driving and easier travelling
• Proposing a system with the help of technology to make google maps app more
functional and useful
• User friendly application with availability for all people
• Defining future scope with upcoming to-be technologies that will make living more
comfortable
PROBLEM STATEMENT
• Current system only shows all the routes and distance to reach destination.
• It locates nearby gas stations, hotels, restaurants only.
• It doesn’t recognize driver behavior pattern.
• Doesn’t alert on traffic contaminated areas
• Doesn’t support friend guide
OBJECTIVE
• Create a system that allows users to identify driver behavior pattern to prevent
accidents.
• New system should provide alerts based on behavior pattern and traffic analysis.
• New system should allow users to identify friends in nearby circle and also contacts
them in case of emergency.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
• You must login to use this app.
• System will detect driver behavior pattern and will indicate unusual pattern as red
and yellow dot on google maps depending upon the intensity. Normal pattern cars
will have green dot.
• Nearby cars (within radius of 2 miles) will get an alert if the driving is rash (car
marked red) else for car marked green or yellow, driver won’t get any alerts.
• It will also send alerts to driver if there is occurrence of accident on their way to
destination.
• System will try to find friends which are located/driving in 25 miles of radius.

IMPLEMENTATION
• Estimated cost is approximately $500,000 for the entire system.
• Time needed for completion is estimated to be 5 months.
• The development and operations requires use of satellite. If dedicated satellite is
used then more beneficial.
• The system requires database servers for all the contact data and driver behavior
pattern algorithm.
BENEFITS
• Accident control.
• Will make driving more safer on road with driver behavior pattern recognition.
• Traffic control
• Alert on on road accidents
• Emergency alert to selected friends if driver Is driving rash (unusual pattern) or
involved in accident.
• Can locate nearby friends (if visibility is ON or added in friends circle)
FUTURE SCOPE
• If implemented will surely save lot of lives.
• With dedicated satellite, more accurate information can be obtained.
• In case of accidents, system will automatically contact police department and
ambulance.
• With upcoming technologies, this system can be upgraded to add on more features.
