I News is a tabloid
newspaper.
It focuses on the image
and their headlines/ sub-
headings rather than the
copy.
They have a centre-
left political bias.
They focus on international and
political news instead of celebrity
gossip.
They include opinions in their
headlines which is linked to their
political bias to persuade the reader
to agree with them.
The images and writing
looks 'scattered' as they
includes lots of news
stories.
There is an informal use
of language which is
also quite simple.
Bright colours
are used.
5. The Daily Mail:
The Daily Mail are a right-wing
conservative newspaper. They
tend to include opinionated
stories.
This is because they are a
tabloid newspaper.
The Daily Mail have less
copy as they are more
focused on celebrity gossip
and grabbing the audience's
attention.
They tend to use sensational
language their news stories/
banner headlines, for
example here it says 'Musk's
chilling alert over A.I.'
The image is used
in an informal and
unserious way, in
contrast to the
person used in the
picture.
