Code Club was co-founded by Clare Sutcliffe and
Linda Sandvik in April 2012.
Volunteering for Code Club involves travelling to
your local primary school or public venue once a
week to run your club for an hour.
Code Club projects have been written for children
who are 9-11 years old based on average literacy
and numeracy skills for this age group.
How?
Four Terms:
● Term one and two
● Use scratch to teach basics of
programming
● Term three
● HTML and CSS basics
● Developer tools to investigate elements of
HTML
● Term four
● Python basics

Professional Development (CPD) training to
primary school teachers

with Computing at Schools and with primary
