The yacht clubhouse was designed by Estudio Ramos and constructed in 2014 in Tigre Partido, Argentina. It is situated on a peninsula with excellent views of the yacht club's water channel connecting to the Parana River. The building's morphology was inspired by the geometric sail shapes of America's Cup ships from the early 20th century. It is a two-level building, with social rooms and a restaurant on the upper level taking advantage of the best views, while storage, locker rooms, and a gym are located on the ground floor. The structure is reinforced concrete with exposed concrete facades, aluminum windows, and metal solar shades.

- The document outlines the investment potential of Chembur and incentives for brokers to boost pre-launch sales of Project Central Park.
1) Coworking spaces have grown exponentially over the last decade from 160 spaces worldwide in 2008 to over 18,700 spaces in 2018. Asia currently has the most coworking spaces while North America and Europe are second and third.
2) Coworking provides benefits like a better work-life balance, reducing isolation, and improving networking opportunities. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted the coworking industry and new health and safety measures must be implemented.
3) As coworking spaces reopen, adaptations like frequent cleaning, hand sanitizer stations, plexiglass shields between desks, and reduced capacity in shared spaces will help make employees feel safe while maintaining the benefits of coworking.
The Centrum Club is an 1860 square meter clubhouse located in Lodha Palava City, Mumbai. Designed by Abin Design Studio, the clubhouse draws inspiration from traditional Maharashtrian 'wada' house designs with rooms arranged around a central courtyard. It features various facilities like a swimming pool, gym, kids play area, restaurant, and party hall spread across the ground floor according to the concept of public, semi-public and private zones. Sustainable design principles like maximizing natural light and ventilation along with local materials were used to create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience echoing the native wada architectural style.
The document presents concepts and plans for renovating the Cayuga Playground and Clubhouse in San Francisco. It discusses five key concepts: the location and how it informs the design, duality in the forms, circulation, the overarching design idea, and separating the forms. Diagrams and the existing and proposed floor plans are shown. The renovation aims to transform the space and honor the philosophy of the former gardener, Demetrio Braceros, using light and the forms found in nature.
This document is a thesis report submitted by Sohail Hussain for the degree of Bachelor of Architecture. The report proposes the design of an Integrated Industrial Park for artisans in Sarthebari, Assam, known for its bell metal and brass products. The park will provide a common workspace for artisans to work together, sell their products, and teach younger generations their craft-making processes, following the concept of "learn and work". The report includes chapters on case studies of similar industrial parks, literature review on the bell metal making process and building requirements, site analysis, and conceptual design evolution. The goal is to create a space for artisans to efficiently produce and market their bell metal products while preserving the cultural heritage
This document discusses guidelines for pedestrian-scale urban design. It begins by defining pedestrian zones as areas reserved exclusively for pedestrians. It then discusses various urban design qualities like imageability and human scale that influence the pedestrian experience. The document outlines physical features of the walking environment and how individuals perceive and react to places differently. It provides guidelines for pedestrian-friendly design including site planning, circulation, massing, proportion, materiality, rhythm, transparency and detail. The goal is to encourage walking through safe, comfortable and attractive urban environments designed at a human scale.

Undergraduate thesis at the Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics in Jamia Millia Islamia seeking a Bachelor's in Architecture. The thesis from 2011-2012 proposes developing a cultural heritage and interpretation center in Varanasi, India. The city of Varanasi attracts thousands of tourists annually due to its UNESCO World Heritage status but lacks a central facility to inform visitors about its rich cultural history and mythology. The proposed center near Sarnath would fill this need through exhibition spaces, auditoriums, and other areas to help locals and tourists better understand and engage with Varanasi's cultural traditions.
This document is a thesis report submitted by Mokshika Balana for their B.Arch 10th semester at Guru Nanak Dev University. It discusses the proposed design of a Central Business District in Amritsar, Punjab. The objectives are to provide commercial, cultural and social activities in an accessible environment. The methodology includes a literature review on CBDs, case studies of existing CBDs, site analysis, and formulation of a design concept and proposal. Key aspects to be addressed include connectivity, safety, comfort and compatibility of land uses.

Vivek Kumar Rai is proposing a design for a Cultural Heritage and Interpretation Centre in Varanasi, India. The centre would help preserve Varanasi's rich cultural heritage and promote understanding of the city's history and mythology among visitors and locals. It would be located near the historic site of Sarnath, which receives many tourists annually and would house administrative offices, cultural spaces like an auditorium and prayer halls, interpretation areas like exhibitions and a library, and other amenities. Rai will analyze the site conditions and context, research requirements and case studies, and develop a conceptual design that considers the urban landscape and its surroundings.
Library of Birmingham Case Study PresentationDaden Limited
The Library of Birmingham was a £188.8m project to build an iconic new Central Library of Birmingham. In 2010, Daden developed an immersive model - working from architects plans - for use by Library staff to plan the use of the new building and to engage with the community. Daden delivered the immersive build in Dec 2010 and then opened to the public to explore in April 2011, 2 years before the real build was complete.

Suzlon-One Earth is a renewable energy campus that harvests 100% of rainwater and recycles greywater, with 7% of energy from on-site sources. ZED Earth is a geothermally air-conditioned apartment project with native drought-resistant plants on green roofs. ITC Grand Chola meets 100% of its energy needs through renewables and sources 40% of food locally, recycling 99% of waste. Govardhan Eco Village sources 90% of construction materials within 100 km to reduce its carbon footprint. Infosys Hyderabad campus reduces energy
