Children's Bible Ministries desires to reach elementary kids and then minister to them through adulthood. We accomplish our goals by means of Classes, Correspondence lessons and Camps.
This document summarizes the state of image recognition technology and its applications in digital humanities. It notes that the number of digitized manuscripts has grown from around 4,000 in 2008 to over 20,000 in 2015. Current uses of images include edition/transcription, additional description, reference/linking, and annotation. Interoperability standards like IIIF aim to improve sharing of image-based resources. Examples are given of applications at Biblissima including a manuscript viewer and tools matching images to electronic editions. Future projects are outlined to link illuminations databases in France and conduct digital paleography research.
Biblissima presentation at the LIBER conference in MunichMatthieu Bonicel
Biblissima is an French EQUIPEX project 2012-2019 that is gathering online ressources about Middle Ages and Renaissance Heritage and their transmission.

The document discusses the power of collaboration. It argues that those who think they can change the world through collaboration are the ones who actually do. It also notes that high performance comes from disciplined collaboration, while low performance results from decentralized work. Finally, it emphasizes using the right tools, like IP telecommunications networks, which have evolved to transport different types of information over a single network in a natural and efficient way.

This document outlines a lesson plan on stress management and problem solving for students aged 14-16. The objectives are to understand stress, practice stress management tools, and appreciate that people experience stress differently. The lesson defines stress as the interaction between demand, control, and support. Students consider what causes them stress and strategies like relaxation. Through roleplays as counselors and clients, students explore options and make action plans to manage stress without direct suggestions. The lesson aims to help students develop skills and awareness to better handle stress.
The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive function. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help protect against mental illness and improve symptoms for those who already suffer from conditions like anxiety and depression.
The document discusses the developmental model and key concepts of the RDI & ABA approach to teaching social skills. It focuses on 6 levels from Novice to Partner. Level 1 emphasizes building the core relationship through non-verbal communication, fun activities, and exaggerated spotlighting to develop attending behaviors. Stage 1 activities simplify the environment and emphasize enjoyment to increase attention, while Stage 2 introduces referencing others through facial expressions and joint attention activities.
A little boy named Tank dreams of becoming a dinosaur who helps end world hunger by taking poor and hungry people to a wonderful place where food grows abundantly. Tank shows the people how to grow their own food so they will never be hungry again. Thanks to Tank's efforts, poverty is ended as people learn skills to produce food and work for themselves. The story promotes community gardening and cooperation to address hunger and poverty issues.
Slums challenges, opportunities and social enterprisesGaurav Jha
The document discusses the importance of food and challenges in ensuring everyone has access to it, such as climate change, land degradation, a growing population, and food price fluctuations. It notes that while governments, NGOs, and private players have been unable to fully address the problem, social enterprises may be able to play a role by freeing up people's time, understanding customer needs, targeting the right segments, influencing communities, tapping existing resources, providing appropriately sized solutions using local materials and knowledge, and creating employment and value.

cio infrastrutturale (IaaS - 59%).
