2. Looking at it, I've created my own version of the story. It’s only one picture, so I didn’t have many things to create: There are two men. One of them is kissing Paolo, but it isn't a "kind" kiss. It's something that's making Paolo scared, it's a threaten . But why is he scared? Because the man is a policeman, and Paolo is doing something wrong in his café. But Paolo doesn't know one thing: the policeman belongs to a gang and wants the money Paolo is getting with his "bad business" in the Café .
3. But after creating my own version, I've read the chapter, and here's what really happens: Paolo is on the phone, he's looking very angry and scared. Kate asks him what's wrong, but Paolo just says that the things are very bad. Matt asks him if he can help, but Paolo doesn't accept it because Matt "is not part of their family". But, in the evening, he tells Matt everything. He tells him that two men are coming to see Kate and Paolo.They're Antonio and Victor Vassalo and they're from Malta. Paolo knew them when he lived in Valleta. These men work with money, and two months ago they asked Paolo for some help. They said that they only needed him to help them for about two or three weeks. The help was to put a small black box in the bar, by the credit card machine. The box does something with the credit card numbers, something wrong, of course, as they're a gang. Everything started like this, but the "three weeks" turned into "six". Paolo tried to stop doing it a lot of times. Last night, Paolo told them: "Stop. I'm going to the police!" and the men didn't like it. So they gave Paolo the "Kiss of Death", which means: do what we say or someone in your family is going to die.
5. Matt, Paolo and a man are in the café. The man, who is very tall, is asking Matt to check, on the computer, the credit card numbers that he has and decide what numbers the man and his brother are going to use. Matt doesn't want to do it, but the man is threatening Matt. He's saying: "If you don't check the numbers, something bad is going to happen to Kate!" Matt loves Kate, and, if something bad happens to her... Suddenly, other men arrived at the café and strikes Matt. But Matt is very good at judo, and, two minutes later, the man is on the floor. Matt asks him where Kate is. He's angry, he's saying: "If you don't tell me where she is, I'm going to show you my other judo tricks!" He answers by giving him an address on a piece of paper. Matt goes out, turns on the right and finds an ugly street, with a lonely house. He finds Kate. She's with another man and there are ropes around her. Matt wants to untie her, but a man, the man Matt had fought, comes and hit him with a chair. This is my own version of Chapter 5!
6. There is a tall man in the café. He is talking to Paolo. Matt can hear what they're talking about. He gives Paolo a new small black box and asks him to put it by the credit card machine. If Paolo does it, he will see Kate very soon. Paolo is very afraid, so he does what the tall man asks him to do. But Matt has another plan. He takes the motorbike keys and runs out of the café. He drives through Soho and parks his motorbike 100 metres from the Café. He walks to a dark street. He knows exactly where Kate is __ where she took the "special pizza" to. It's so obvious! There are some trees by the office door. Kate is there, inside. He waits. He hears someone. It's Antonio. He's in front of the door and opens the door. Matt comes out from behind the trees, but he makes a noise. Antonio looks around __ he's very close to Matt. So Matt has a good idea: to use the motorbike helmet! Matt hits him with the helmet and then he uses his judo. Victor goes to the door and sees the brother on the ground. He has a gun in his hand. Matt goes back, he waits behind the trees. When Victor kneels to help Antonio, Matt runs and Victor sees him. But, using more judo, Matt takes the gun from Victor. Matt takes Victor and Antonio to the office, and sees Kate. There are ropes around her legs. Pointing the gun at Victor, Matt tells him to take the ropes off. Kate smiles when she sees Matt, but suddenly she stops smiling and looks at what is behind Matt, and everything goes black to him. Now what really happens!
