10. Starbucks Size Info
Sizes
Short 8 oz. The smallest size Starbucks offers, but you'll probably only get this size if you ask for it by name; anyone asking for a
"small" will get a Tall, which is the smallest size for which the prices are actually on the menu. Only hot drinks can be served in the
Short size.
Tall 12 oz. This is what you'll get if you ask for a "small" drink.
Grande 16 oz. This is the "medium" size. Pronounced "GRAWN-day."
Venti 20 oz. hot, 24 oz. cold. For some reason the iced Venti cups hold four more ounces; for this reason, Venti espresso drinks have
an extra shot of espresso in them, and cost a few cents more than their hot equivalents. Pronounced "VENN-tee," and reportedly
means twenty in Italian.

13. Subject: Fw: Sad News for doughboy
Sad News
Please join me in remembering a great
icon of the entertainment community.
The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday
of a yeast infection and trauma
complications from repeated pokes in
the belly. He was 71.
13
14. Doughboy was buried in a lightly
greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities
turned out to pay their respects,
including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry
Jack, the California Raisins, Betty
Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and
Captain Crunch. The grave site was
piled high with flours.
14
15. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and
lovingly described Doughboy as a man
who never knew how much he was
kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show
business, but his later life was filled with
turnovers. He was not considered a very
smart cookie, wasting much of his dough
on half-baked schemes. Despite being a
little flaky at times, he still was a crusty
old man and was considered a positive roll
model for millions.
15
16. Doughboy is survived by his wife Play
Dough, three children: John Dough, Jane
Dough and Dosey Dough, plus they had
one in the oven. He is also survived by his
elderly father, Pop Tart. The funeral was
held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
If this made you smile for even a brief
second, please rise to the occasion and
take time to pass it on and share that smile
with someone else who may be having a
crumby day and kneads a lift .

86. Away to the beach!
a day to remember
As the day begins, the beach is empty, waiting to be filled.
Seagulls pull their heads tight into their shoulders and watch everyone leave.
Some wade in an inch…at…a…time.
Waves are nature’s roller coaster.
A couple of boys drip a sand castle.
Waves crash into them.
rolling dunes and crashing waves
The clouds race across the shore.
rocks as big as trucks
A boy and a girl ride their parents in a crab race.
waves come in hills and valleys
boisterous and loud
As the sun sets, the clouds change color.
Sunbathers lie side-by-side—flicking sand, swatting flies, dabbing sweat, turning pages, flipping from
their fronts to their backs.

•Learning can only happen when a child is
interested. If he’s not interested it’s like throwing
marshmallows at his head and calling it eating.
