How to break the delivery stage of cyber kill chain was the main topic I delivered last sunday during IDSECCONF 2018 in Malang.
Cyber kill chain wasn’t new at all, it was there since long time, the term popularized by lockheed martin few years ago to help industry identify methodology / technology to prevent cyber attack.
I covered signatured based malware detection, sandboxing, artificial intelligence, and introducing “content disarm reconstruction” in details.
IDSECCONF is always about contributing back to community since we learnt from community many years ago. I hope what I’ve learn from Industry related to CDR technology can be beneficial to the Indonesian IT security community.

Looking back it has been a longstanding anomaly of Guernsey’s employment laws that there are no express provisions dealing with the rights of either pregnant workers or new mothers. It was announced back in 2012 that Guernsey would finally be taking steps to introduce legislation to protect the rights of pregnant women and provide a guaranteed period of maternity leave for new mothers. It is anticipated that those new laws should be in force by early 2016, but in advance of that the CIPD Guernsey branch has undertaken a survey to identify what arrangements local employers already have in place to recognise the essential contribution to the island’s economy made by the female workforce. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who have responded to the survey and having reviewed the results, the overwhelming approach that most employers take is a positive one which is encouraging to see.

Why study a CIPD
qualification?
Whether you’re starting out or looking
to progress your career, the CIPD’s
internationally-recognised professional
qualifications are a great way to acquire
the knowledge and skills essential
to becoming an effective HR or LD
practitioner.
CIPD qualifications are:
• relevant and practical
They are designed to enable you to apply
your learning back at work immediately.
• valued by employers
You’ll develop the business
understanding and technical knowledge
that organisations are looking for.
Choosing the right
qualification for you
CIPD qualifications are available at three
levels:
• Level 3 Foundation, which is
equivalent to A-level
• Level 5 Intermediate, which is
equivalent to foundation degree/HND
level
• Level 7 Advanced, which is
postgraduate level.
At each level you can follow an HR or
LD pathway or a combination of both.
Our qualifications consist of a number of
units across HR and LD subjects. The
number of units you choose (within rules
of combination) will determine the size of
your qualification (Award, Certificate or
Diploma).
If you want to cover the essential units
at a given level, a Certificate would be
appropriate. A Diploma covers a wider
breadth of subjects. An Award allows you
to cover specific areas of interest.
Your study options
When you’ve decided on the right
qualification for you, the next step is to
choose how you’d like to study. CIPD
qualification providers offer flexible study
programmes to suit your timescales,
budget and home or work commitments:
• full-time or part-time study
• block study
• supported distance learning
• mixed mode study.

to upgrade to Chartered Member or Fellow
(subject to eligibility).
