Cinderella lived with her mean stepmother and stepsisters who made her do all the housework. She was not allowed to go to the royal ball, but her fairy godmother helped her by transforming her clothes and a pumpkin into a carriage. Cinderella danced with the prince at the ball but had to leave by midnight, losing her glass slipper. The prince searched the land to find the girl whose foot fit the slipper, and married Cinderella, living happily ever after.
