This document introduces CI GDM, a company that provides global trade data management services. CI GDM specializes in customs compliance, content expertise, and internal data connectivity. The company has over 4000 customers including 40% of Fortune 100 companies. CI GDM collects and distributes international trade content through various platforms and provides classification support services and global trade desktop software to help customers optimize internal and external trade data.

48. Main Dashboard Once logged in, user can easily see what tasks they have to accomplish and what has been completed.

58. Upload Summary Data that came in from the upload is populated on the left and is completely configurable. Hyperlinks can be assigned to fields such as “Item Number” to automatically link to a company website for reference or specifications.

59. Research and Backup Original HTS number is validated against current HS. In this example, the Red X indicates the HS code is not valid.

60. Updating the HTS The old code is entered and the user selects “Get Current”. Potential HS codes are automatically presented based on proprietary concordance table.

61. Research and Backup Green check mark indicates a valid HS code and the tariff description is automatically populated. The area on the right contains history of the item and links to research conducted.

62. Links to CUSTOMS Info for Research The Desktop is automatically linked to CUSTOMS Info for rulings, EU Explanatory Notes, up to 100 country tariffs, and much, much more.

63. Configurable Data Fields Lower classification section is completely configurable to add additional data specific to your industry or interest. For example, a field for a Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) number which may assist in classification.

64. OGA and Supporting Info OGA and ADD/CVD flags as maintained in ABI data are automatically applied based on the assigned HS code. Attached Documents and comments can be viewed at the individual item level.

66. Global HTS Mapping Once the item is classified in the primary country, users can quickly identify the HS options for other countries.

68. ECCN Finder The 6 digit HS # is matched to a Schedule B # and bumped against historical data from Census, showing total exports and the code used (or not).

69. ECCN Finder The text of any ECCN can be displayed for review. Any decisions will be attached to the item.

70. ECCN Finder Two ECCNs can be viewed simultaneously and compared.

71. Schedule B HTS number is automatically linked to the Schedule B providing options to select. Most are one-to-one matches based on proprietary logic

72. Mass Updates Once initial classification results are approved for a single item, all answers can be automatically applied to an entire family or group in one step.
