Ms. Knighton has worked with the author for 4 years across multiple roles, excelling in marketing, advertising, public relations and sales. She was promoted after first interning and then working under the author. In the four years that I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ms. Knighton, I have called on her to
share her expertise on a wide variety of topics including marketing, advertising, public relations
and sales. Her creativity is boundless and her energy is infectious but she is also logical,
thoughtful and organized; in my opinion, the perfect combination for a sales role that is based on
product knowledge and relationship building. Ms. Knighton first worked under me as an intern
and I felt so strongly about the value she added to my team that when I changed jobs I worked to
find a role for her in that setting and though I changed course to pursue a passion for non-profit
work, she flourished at Enjoy the City and was promoted.
In the time since, she has lent her time and talent to the Sidewalk Film Festival as a volunteer and
in year one impressed many of our staff members and long-time volunteers with her people skills
and general ability to “get things done”. She is a skilled communicator who is relatable and has
the ability to interact with an array of people from all walks of life. She has excellent rapport with
the many constituents served by our office including filmmakers, volunteers, board members,
donors, sponsors and members of the media. If my organization’s budget would allow for it, I
would hire Ms. Knighton today.
