Amongst hobbies that occupy my free time, there are some associated with the history of different
people.
Several years ago, during travels, fate brought me together with a descendant of the ancient tribe
of the Guarani. His name was Kobe. He was middle-aged, educated, and living in a civilized
society. At the same time he kept history and traditions of his people in the family.
Kobe told me legends handed down from generation to generation. They follow the evolution of the
Guarani from agriculture to livestock production. He knows the history of the influence of the
Spanish conquistadors on the Guarani, and later - Jesuitry. This was the turning point in the
transformation of the tribe of the people driven by primitive customs into a population of a civilized

I was interested to learn that the Guarani introduced mate tea to the world. Iguazu Falls, one of the
