mHealth for Healthcare Professionals Certificated Training Course3GDR
An introduction/overview of the world's first certificated mHealth Training Course for Healthcare Professionals.
Developed and produced by 3GDoctor.com and the Healthcare Informatics Society of Ireland (HISI.ie)
In this data driven world, health conscious people are actively tracking and analyzing multiple activities like sleep cycle, calories consumed, monitoring bodily functions, etc. Deriving the maximum output from apps is still a challenge for many users and providers as data in silos doesn’t really have power to paint the complete picture of your well being.
Imagine a system where an app that monitors your calorie intake and is able to share the calorie consumption data to your fitness/workout app. The workout app, based on this new information, adjusts your activity goals to maintain the desired levels of fitness.
HealthKit intends to bring in a holistic approach to your wellness with easy collection and sharing of data among various wellness/fitness and health apps from one centralized location.
KEY TAKEAWAYS:
Opportunities and challenges in mhealth, wellness and fitness domain
HealthKit: The overview, advantages of HealthKit and its usage determining factors
HealthKit in action- Live demo
HealthKit application areas - Present and future
The evolution of life science ecosystems: Five effective innovation approache...IBM in Healthcare
The life sciences industry, like many others, faces broad disruption and challenges on fronts ranging from technology to regulation to product resourcing. Traditionally, innovation has been a key driver of success for life sciences organizations, and it will continue to play a critical role for an industry that seeks to sustain this momentum. This report, the third of the Innovating Life Sciences series, identifies five strategies that differentiate the more successful academic life sciences institutions from the rest.
Smart Tech Healthcare Summit 2018 will be held from 20th - 21st September 2018, Delhi, India.
Since the hospitals and healthcare centers in North India are currently evaluating the most suitable technologies for their centers, and with technology implementation considered a tedious task, the 3rd Annual Smart Tech Healthcare 2018 scheduled from 20 – 21 September 2018 in Delhi, India, which will bringing together the key decision makers from the healthcare centre’s to help them achieve their objectives.

E governance project management practices through information technology infr...IJARIIT
E-Governance implementation requires certain service levels to be achieved as they replace traditional manual
processes thereby increasing the dependence of government agencies on information technology based services. High quality
services entail high performance, availability, and scalability among other service characteristics. Strict measures are required
to help e-governments evaluate the service level and assess the quality of the service. In this paper, we introduce the IT
Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework - a set of best practices to achieve quality service and overcome difficulties associated
with the growth of IT systems and discuss its significance and benefits in E-Governance implementation.
In recent years, there has been rapid growth of e-government services & application go on web. Malaysia federal government enable national budget services and application online for more efficient on managing, planning, monitoring, evaluation and accountability.

IT Service Management System Measurement using ISO20000-1 and ISO15504-8: De...IJECEIAES
Information technology is about not only hardware, software, communication infrastructure and communication infrastructure but also how to manage services. Information technology plays an increasingly important role in developing the structure and functions of public and private sectors. Service measurement plays an important role in IT service management (ITSM) that is one of the subfields of Services Computing science. ITSM is a big part of service science, a science field that combines computer science, operation research engineering, business strategy, management science, and organizational theory. Performance measurement from each of IT services is absolutely needed and is important in the continuous development of ITSM. These research provide good technical knowledge about the measuring ITSM with some requirements. In this paper we suggest the metrics in each service processes enables organizations to predict a direction for active process enhancement and to identify if the goal of process can achieve. This objective process metrics based on ISO/IEC 15504-8 and PRM ISO/IEC 20000-4 refinement. The output of this research, in the form of metrics and tools for any type organizational use.
Proposal of a Framework of Lean Governance and Management of Enterprise ITMehran Misaghi
Technology and Information are vital to the success of companies.
To leverage the successes in IT projects, companies have at their
disposal, references globally accepted as good practices (COBIT,
ITIL, PMBOK, ISO, TOGAF, etc.). In spite of this, it is still great
the magnitude of spending on IT projects poorly designed or
improperly implemented. This paper presents a brief description
of standards and good practices related to governance and
management of enterprise IT, defines the Lean Thinking, Lean IT, the Processes Management, the Portfolio, Program and Project
Management, and the Work System Theory, and highlights the
purpose of them, showing their characteristics and suggests a
Framework of Lean Governance and Management of Enterprise
IT, by demonstrating how the standards and good practices
presented can work together, because it advocates that the Lean
Thinking, the Process, Portfolio, Program, and Project
Management, and the Work System Theory complement the
standards and good practices of Governance and Management of
Enterprise IT with an approach not referenced in these standards
and good practic
Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*
