This study investigates the barriers to children's participation in education within pastoralist communities in the Afar region of Ethiopia, highlighting cultural and economic challenges such as early marriage, child labor, and lack of resources. It employs qualitative research methods to gather insights from various stakeholders involved in education, identifying major supply and demand constraints that hinder access to quality education. Recommendations are proposed for policymakers to address these challenges and improve educational outcomes, emphasizing the need for community engagement and improved school facilities.
