Child labor refers to work performed by children under 15 years old that receives little or no pay and exposes children to violence, threats, lack of education, and health risks. In India, child labor is perpetuated by poverty and lack of access to education. It jeopardizes children's health, human rights, and future. Combating child labor requires raising awareness, establishing labor standards and enforcement, and global partnerships between governments, employers, workers, and NGOs through commitment, resources, and cooperation.
