This document outlines the daily procedures and expectations for Ms. Campbell's chemistry class. Each class period will begin with a bell ringer question for students to answer in their notebooks. This will be followed by a review of the previous lesson and a new lecture, during which students should take notes. An exit pass question at the end of class will also be recorded in notebooks. The teacher pledges to be firm but fair, available for extra help, and to set high expectations while helping students achieve their goals.

2. HOW CLASS WILL FLOW The next few slides will introduce you to what is expected of you each day you enter class

3. Bell ringer Each day you will begin by answering a question that will be on the board. This is to be kept in your three ring notebook under the Bell Ringer tab. Bell ringers will be checked for completeness during notebook checks.

4. Class Discussion After the bell n work has been completed we will begin with a quick review of the previous day. We will then move into the lecture for the day. During this time you should be taking notes. A few sample problems may be give at this time.

5. Exit pass At the end of the class period there will be another question to answer based on what was covered during class discussion This is to be kept in your notebook as well under exit pass.

6. Expectations I expect every student to be ENGAGED PREPARED PRODUCTIVE POSITIVE and RESPECTFUL each and everyday

7. My Pledge I pledge to be firm but fair. I pledge to be available for any student who needs extra assistance. I pledge to set high expectations for my students and help them reach those goals.

8. Closing I look forward to working with each and everyone of you this school year. We have a lot to accomplish this year but I expect to see you all soar to new places in academic achievement.
