Chat bots are becoming a popular user interface that have several benefits over traditional user interfaces. They are easier to scale than mobile or web apps since they don't need to be fast or visually appealing. Any bugs or issues are also less visible to users. Everything a chat bot does can also be easily traced through logs, and they are simple to integrate into platforms like GitHub, IRC, or Slack.
