To Whom it May Concern,
I have worked with Adam Seymour for two years (August 2010-Present) and it is a pleasure to provide this
letter of recommendation.
Adam has an excellent relationship with students across the age ranges. He has high expectations of
students of all ages and abilities. I often see Adam discussing current events with students and staff and
he is clearly passionate about his subject. Having observed his classroom practise informally, on several
occasions, I am always impressed by the variety of resources and activities that he employs. He has a
real interest in the learning of his students and works hard to deliver a range of lessons that appeal to a
range of learning styles.
Adam is equally committed to his upper school students and has done an excellent job of
developing the IB History curriculum as well as supporting students with Extended Essays and
TOK presentations where necessary. In this area, his work has shown a marked focus on the
development of students higher order (critical) thinking skills through inquiry based learning and
focused target setting.
Lessons are consistently innovative and Adam does seem to actively seek, and come up with, new
ways to approach the material which makes it accessible for his students whilst complying with the
criteria of both the British and Mexican assessment systems.
I have absolutely no qualms about recommending Adam Seymour for any course of study, highly and
without reservation. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours faithfully,
Charlotte Crossland
