Roxie is a supporting character who helps establish visual diversity among the characters and shows the group's dynamics. She plays an important role in a ritual that strengthens the creature. Claire is the narrator who sets the action in motion by coercing Lizzie to awaken the demon. Claire is later revealed to be possessed by the creature, which wants revenge through her. Lizzie is the innocent character whose blood is used in a ritual to release the creature from its tomb. As a result, the creature focuses its attacks on Lizzie, making her the main focus of the film and trailer as her actions will determine the fate of the other characters.

2. Roxie is not one of the main
characters in the story line; but is used
in different ways that are beneficial to
the overall feel of the trailer.
She is used to show a different
character and a different visual look
on the characters ( as they are all
strikingly different) she is also
important to show the dynamics of
the group.
Later on in the trailer she is used in an
important ritual that allows the
creature to regain its whole strength,
and from this point of view it makes
her character even stronger.

3. Claire is the ‘story teller’ of the
group; she is the character who then
gets the ball rolling on the action
that is going to take place in the
trailer/ the film.
With this character she coheres
Lizzie to awaken the demon/
creature that will plague the film; she
is considered to be the wild card of
the film as later the audience finds
out that she is not in fact ‘herself’ she
has been possessed by the creature,
as it wants revenge for its ‘unlawful’
death, and she is just the puppet for
it to get to its goal.

4. Lizzie is seen to be the innocent
character that through no fault of
her own is cohered into releasing
the creature that resides in it
‘tomb’; because her blood is used
the creature seems to go after her
the most, and this is because she is
the only character that it has a link
to (via the blood).
She then is the main focus of the
film and the trailer; as her actions
will decide the fate of the other
two characters, and wither or not
they will survive …
