2. The content of the show
This FOX animated comedy ‘The Cleveland show’ is a
spin-off from the series Family guy which was much-
loved by it’s viewers.
The series stars the adventures of Peter Griffin’s
neighbor and best friend Cleveland Brown.
Years back Cleveland made a solemn promise to high
school sweetheart Donna. Cleveland alongside his son
(Cleveland JR) move to Stoolbend VA for a new start
with Dona and her other two children.

4. Structure
The Cleveland show begins with the opening
sequence with a song sung by Mike Henry who plays
Cleveland Brown.
The show consists of multiple dilemmas which the
characters face and try to solve. Each of the
characters have different ways of trying to solve their
problem which shows in each scene.
At the ending of the show the problems that the family
members face gets resolved leaving no cliff-hangers
or storylines which carry onto other episodes. the
family comes together which concludes the show.
Afterwards the credits appear and the instrumental of
the theme tune starts to play.
5. Language
The Cleveland show is a comedy
therefore the language used is comedic
and humorous.
The show is mainly based on adult-
humor and so is not appropriate for
viewers under the age of 15. The
language used by the characters is also
informal and is neither formal or
educational for the viewers.
