- SM We’re seeing good growth in enterprise deployments in particular & big residential deployments just ahead There’s real momentum now: We expect activity to continue to ramp up Proof point: Sprint $500m, TalkTalk, BT/EE, Free, more engagement in SCF worldwide, we’re hearing that Shanghai lampposts (there’s a big stat here need to track down). The non-traditional mobile carriers are driving a surge in demand for residential products. What we’ve seen to date is the tip of the iceberg. As an industry we need to have a strong enough ecosystem that continues to share best practice to deliver stable, interoperable HetNets of the future. That’s the role of SCF.

Among the top nine challenges identified as barriers to deployment, at least 60% of respondents, in each case, had found the documents helpful. Where some particular challenges were concerned, such as the business case and standards support, over 90% had found the documents directly helpful. In some areas, Release documents had an even more measurable impact – this was particularly common when a firm was choosing the architecture, with 25% saying a Release had directly solved a problem, and 10% said the same of issues related to business case, backhaul and interference.
