years
administration of
present CM
presented by: Manohar(ECE-15-

preface
Pros and cons of present government
administration which was authorised by
“Chandra Babu Naidu”
pros
Amaravathi Master plan
 The government has acquired 33,000 acres of land in Vijayawada-
Guntur which is proposed as the state capital.
 His Government has followed best land pooling scheme in the country .
Most of the farmers gave up their land voluntarily.
 I think this is one of the major achievement
AP's brand image
 He is leaving no stone unturned to highlight AP's brand image
internationally .He has toured Japan , Singapore and China
recently to bring the foreign Investments.
 The master plan of Amaravathi has been by developed by the
Singapore . Japan agreed for major investments in the state.
 He met “ Bill Gates , Satya Nadella “etc. for investments
in AP
24 Hours Electricity:
Have you noticed since last two years there were no
power cuts.
This would definitely help farmers to cultivate their land
with sufficient water from motors.
Programs that cause employment:
Low cost canteens and skill development
programs were implemented
Setting up Major Industries
 In April 2015, Chief Minister inaugurated a beverage plant by ” Pepsi Co” .
at Sri City with investment of INR 1,200 crore.
 Facilities of 11 global firms encompassing INR 980 crore of investment
were inaugurated and foundation stones were laid for another 11 units at
around INR 1,000 crore.
 Global Pharma major “Mylan” is investing additional $5 billion in Andhra
Pradesh to expand presence.

 Hero Motors to set up its motorcycle manufacturing plant in the state.
 MOU has been signed with 18 ancillary Industries attached to ISUZU
India Limited at Sricity with a total investment of INR 900 crore.
 Wipro has come forward to ramp up its manpower by 7,000
employees.
 HPCL has proposed to set up a Refinery with proposed investment of
INR 17,000 crore.
continue…
 Tech Mahindra will create an additional employment of 5,000 in
Visakhapatnam.
 Under the Large industries category, 33 companies have
materialized with a total investment of INR 3,380 crore. These
industries will create 13,551 jobs.
 Under the MSMEs category, 2,595 companies have
with a total investment of INR 2,154 crore. These will create
employment opportunities for 45,446 people.
Andhra Pradesh as a education hub
 These are the Educational Institutions allotted to Andhra Pradesh and
running in temporary campuses:
 IISER,Tirupati
 IIM,Vishakapatnam
 IIT, Tirupati
 IIIT, Kurnool
 NID, Vijayawada
 NIT, Tadepalligudem
 NCERT,Venkatachalam, Nellore
 IIPE, Visakhapatnam
Polavaram project as a big achievement
 In Andhra pradesh at present it is the huge water dam project.
 Budget for this project is around INR 40,000crores, under CM’s
administration how ever he achieved to get funds around INR16,000 crores
from central government.
 project was to transfer the water from godavari to the water deficit krishna
basin.
 Whenever godavari river was flooded there is a need to divert the water
which is in excess that may submerge the villages nearby godavari river.
 So, that water can be diverted into Krishna river which is in deficit.
cons
Special Status
 Pace of development is really good but he is not able to
succeed in granting the special status to the state from
the Central Government.
 The special status issue has been potrayed as matter of
self respect by the opposition and now is hurting
people's centiment .
 The Special status improves the state Economically and
improves its opportunities.
Government Employees
 He is very much lenient towards Government
employees as most of the employees are now
reluctant to move to the State capital region from
Hyderabad which is a serious concern.
 Since CBN wants to rule from Vijayawada but the
Administration is in Hyderabad then it creates
hurdles in development.
Loan Waiving Scheme:
Loan Waiving was not completely achieved…As
promised at the time of elections.
Land Pooling:
Land pooling was done but these is no proper
compensation for the land owners.
Youth Employment:
 Though he promised of employment opportunities,
he had not reached a significant digit.
In the manifesto they have stated that unemployed
young person will be given an amount of INR 2000
per month.
But,it remained just to be a paper oath.
Towards Farmers
 Proper subsidy was not provided to farmers .(i.e
fertilizers,seeds)
 Due to this there were constant increase in suicide
attempts of farmers.
 Special care should be taken towards farmers. like
organizing teams which will perform examination on
soil fertility and advising farmers what kind of crops
should be developed.
Thank you all
