The project aims to help underprivileged children through a classroom tutoring program. Third and fourth year students from education faculties will volunteer as tutors for 50 students two times per week for 1-3 hours per session. The program leader has volunteered 900 hours over 180 days. The tutoring classroom will operate before and after normal school hours from September to May to help children with learning difficulties, from vulnerable backgrounds, or who have parents with limited availability. The tutors will gain teaching experience benefiting their future employment while providing academic support to students.
