1) The team aims to reduce electrical crabs in the cabin area of the CH-148 aircraft from 1189 to below 500 by standardizing electrical installation processes and implementing routing aids. 2) Current drivers of high electrical crab counts were identified as a lack of standard work instructions and routing tools for harness installation. The team developed standard work documents, templates, and guides to address this. 3) Preliminary results showed a 55% reduction in crab counts from aircraft 801 to 803 after implementing standard work and routing aids for electrical installation in the cabin area.
