Mobile phones originated from two-way radios developed in the 1940s for the military. There are several major mobile phone manufacturers that produce phones under different brand names. Mobile phones connect to cellular networks operated by companies to make calls and access the internet from wide geographic areas. In Pakistan, major mobile operators include Vfone, Ufone, Mobalink, Zong and Telenor. Mobile phones now serve many purposes beyond calls like taking photos, recording audio, viewing documents, and sharing multimedia messages. While mobile phones provide many benefits, they should also be used carefully and responsibly.
