33. Partner CeC What do we bring to the table? Global Content Since 2006, CeC has annually manifested probably the most massive overall collection of globally curated, or juried, Short-Creative-Videoworks (SCVs) to be screened anywhere in one place in India through that year Individual works, amongst the hundreds normally screened, range through art-videos, unaccompanied presentations, selected TV commercials, independent new works specifically created to premiere at CeC,⌠and once, even a specially curated collection of entirely âamateurâ works Besides video, CeC also receives and presents audio, still-imaging and mixed-media content ⌠and some participants have even been known to establish âinstallationsâ for the duration (note: all video content is screened off full-quality DVDs/CDs ~ not internet downloads )
34. Partner CeC What do we bring to the table? A Culture of Innovation Primary-Participation in CeC has always been by-invitation-only , since the beginning. The basis for this has simply been careful and continuous round-the-year networking, research and outreach , all tilted towards radical innovation, cross-disciplinary potential, and straightforward developmental significance, across several planes of human endeavour, and the human condition. The foundation of this privileged approach, in turn, comes down to just hard-won credibility across the broad global community
35. Partner CeC What do we bring to the table? Only one-of-its-kind Event Experience Being probably the only cutting-edge incident of its kind in India (if not the world) , annually manifesting such a vast and diverse global mix of unique professional and independent creative talent, CeC has earned an enviable global reputation over the years for being an incomparably memorable experience for both participants as well as audience; which in turn always finds many of them coming back for more. And, since all of it is essentially all about experimental innovation and creativity, everybody who does come back does come back with more
36. Partner CeC What do we bring to the table? Even a Venue to Remember The first 3 years of CeC (then CeC & CaC*) were played out in New Delhi, capital of India, in partnership with and across several venues of India International Centre . Since 2009, CeC has been played out in the Lower Himalaya of Kumaon, at Sattal Estate, Uttarakhand â a venue that has added an amazing new character to the incident *For the record, the old âCaCâ part of the original name of the incident was left behind as a permanent property of just those who helped see it through the first 3 years (2006-â07-â08)
37. Partner CeC What do we bring to the table? Impeccable Track Record and Affiliations In 2012, CeC will be in its 7th consecutive year, through all of which, and more, it has continued to grow in credibility across the globe, continuously forging new affiliations with international cultural bodies, and new interpersonal relationships with very special people.
38. Partner CeC What do we bring to the table? An Electronic Heritage Over the past 11 years and more, beginning from even before The Academy of Electronic Arts was itself actually established, the key people behind it have been compiling what is now regarded in informed global circles to be one of the most significant archives of electronic art from around the world in the early 21st century. The archive is officially now nurtured and maintained by The AeA, for future students and researchers. *note: the archive houses only full-quality files on original DVDs/CDs, directly sent in by the respective artists, institutions, or other entities, who created them. It does not include internet downloads
