INTO ONLINE COURSES?

• Animations / Simulations
• Calculus – projectile motion with calculations

• Tutorial collections to support technology (multi-mode)

6. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHALLENGES FACED
WITH USING OER?
• Licensing can be complex
• Links can go inactive
• Need for vetting external OERs
• Need strategy for using in courses
• Monitor links
• Track details of content, license, audience of OERs
• Back-up plan for “lost” resources
• Storage
• Creating OER implies that an open site is available for
others to access the resource
