Casey House, established on March 1, 1988, was Canada's first free-standing HIV/AIDS hospice, evolving over 25 years to meet the changing needs of its clients. With current plans to build a new facility that more than doubles its care capacity, Casey House continues to provide compassionate support and medical expertise to the growing number of HIV-positive individuals in Toronto. The 25th anniversary reflects on its groundbreaking history and the ongoing commitment of founders, volunteers, and the community towards improving healthcare for marginalized populations.
