ENTRY
•The auditorium had 2entries at
stall level and 4 exits.
(Two emergency exit are provided near the stage and
the bay)
•The balcony seats had a
separate entry/exit doors from
the 2nd floor.
•The entry for the performers was
separate.
•There is a foyer at the first floor
and second floor level.
•Height of the lobby at both levels
is 4m.
•Cry room provided at the
entrance.
STAGE
• The rectangular stage has
proper curtains and fins.
• Its size is 60ft. By 40ft.
• Everything is
electronically controlled.
The stage has fixtures to
hold focus lights,
backdrops, etc.
• Floor: Hardwood timber
flooring.
BACK STAGE &
GREEN ROOM.
• 6 green rooms behind the
stage connected via corridor
which act as backstage area.
• Dog legged Staircase at one
end of the corridor and
loading- unloading area on the
other end.
• Lift was provided next to
stairs. VIP room was next to
lift.
WALLS AND CEILING
• The walls were prepared in a
simple manner.
• The materials used for the walls
are acoustical boards, P.O.P and
Wooden panels.
• The special acoustical form is
achieved by high density compressed
plaster(P.O.P) for the ceiling.
• Wooden panels are also used in
the auditorium. These panels are filled
with coconut hair as it is a good
reflector.
LIGHTING
•No catwalk was provided.
•Everything was operated
using the machines.
•Halogen Lights were placed
in rows.
It was brought down using
the switches.
•Focus light stands were
provided on the auditorium
walls.
SEATING.
•The total seating capacity of the
theatre is 952.
•The theatre is fan shaped, hence the
seating arrangements are divided into
three segments and two levels i.e.
Stall: 748, Balcony: 204.
•The two aisles divide the seating
into three segments on both the
levels.
• The flooring was carpet covered
over the rcc.
AIR HANDLING UNIT
Located beneath the Auditorium.
Consists of chiller, compressor, condenser, cooling tower.
