Investing in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) leads to cost savings through reduced attrition and absenteeism, and faster, less expensive recruiting; it also contributes to the top line as well.
Even data warehousing software has a personality – even if you might not want to spend your leisure time with it. Whether you are aware of it or not, everything you ship will reflect the values and culture of your business. Organisations spend a lot of time reflecting on and thinking about their internal values but these are not necessarily embedded in the software you ship. All software has a personality – it can be passive-aggressive, boring, dominating, supportive, helpful, even fun. What does your software say to your customers? Can you build software people love, even if it’s doing the kind of things people hate to do? Sarah draws on her experience delivering projects at every scale to show how you can build software that delights customers, no matter what it’s doing.

Building a Workforce Where Belonging Is the Rule — Not the ExceptionCognizant
Diversity has moved from a human resource challenge to a business opportunity. Companies with a diverse workforce and an inclusive work environment are better equipped to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive digital world. These organizations foster an atmosphere of trust; give employees a say in decision making; involve them in work processes; and provide the information, resources, and tools they need to succeed. By embracing different perspectives, they can anticipate challenges before they become problems, and tend to post superior financial results.

Speech Overview:
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) is more than a policy or special program. Employers that truly adopt and commit to ED&I principals experience greater levels of innovation and creativity, broader access to unique skills, create an environment of success for their people and customers, and drive larger and more sustainable growth for the company.
Intellias’ President of North America, Michael Labate, will share a data-driven approach to why ED&I must be deeply embedded in the corporate culture, and how to start taking actions today to adopt ED&I principles in the workplace.
Why Attracting and Retaining Diverse Talent is a Strategic PriorityCenterfor HCI
To tackle longstanding workplace discrimination, many future-focused organizations are adding diversity officers to their leadership teams. If organizations want the best talent, they need to address any issues that are keeping diverse talent out of their ranks and out of their boardrooms.
By 2017, 25% of organisations around the world will lose market position because of their failure to incorporate digital capabilities into their business or to respond to what employees want from their employers in a digital environment (Gartner). ORC International has taken on the challenge and defined ways for your organisation to win the war for digital talent.

THE POWER OF INFLUENCE: LEADERSHIP STRATEGIES FOR THE EXTRAORDINARY LEADERTom Hood, CPA,CITP,CGMA
Influence, by definition, is the ability to have others take actions you suggest, while you continue to build and maintain a good relationship with them. Not an easy skill set to learn – but an essential one for any woman who wants to achieve success in the accounting profession. So how do you get there? In this session, Tom Hood will show you. Named five times as one of the 100 most influential people in the CPA profession, Hood
will share tips and ideas drawn from his wide-ranging (and, yes, definitely influential) career to show you how to hone your own leadership skills to
make you a more powerful influencer than ever before.
Tom will be featuring BLI's latest SMART tool, I2A: Insights to Action - a strategic thinking system. This sytem is the foundation for the AICPA's Leadership Academy and the strategic planning facilitation process used with the Major Firm's Group and many of the Top 100 CPA firms.

We have seen the emergence of the Human Age, where talent is the new differentiator. Yet organizations around the world struggle to find the talent they need. This is especially problematic, because 75 million Baby Boomers will retire within the next 10 to 15 years. Between now and then, there will be a lot of jobs to fill, and if finding great talent is difficult now, organizations are going to have to up their recruiting game, or suffer the consequences of being understaffed.

Hybrid optimization of pumped hydro system and solar- Engr. Abdul-Azeez.pdffxintegritypublishin
Advancements in technology unveil a myriad of electrical and electronic breakthroughs geared towards efficiently harnessing limited resources to meet human energy demands. The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.

In present era, the scopes of information technology growing with a very fast .We do not see any are untouched from this industry. The scope of information technology has become wider includes: Business and industry. Household Business, Communication, Education, Entertainment, Science, Medicine, Engineering, Distance Learning, Weather Forecasting. Carrier Searching and so on.
My project named “Event Management System” is software that store and maintained all events coordinated in college. It also helpful to print related reports. My project will help to record the events coordinated by faculties with their Name, Event subject, date & details in an efficient & effective ways.
In my system we have to make a system by which a user can record all events coordinated by a particular faculty. In our proposed system some more featured are added which differs it from the existing system such as security.

appeal to women, but are probably just appealing to dudes.
Perhaps that’s the intention all along. But I’m curious people with
brains find this quote remotely plausible and if women in

5. 1. Diverse groups perform better. Companies in the top quartile for gender or racial and ethnic
diversity are more likely to have financial returns above their national industry medians.
2. By 2020 there will be 1.4 million computing related jobs filled by only 30% of grads
3. Forbes study has identified workforce diversity and inclusion as a key driver of internal
innovation and business growth.
4. Lu Hong and Scott Page showed that groups of diverse problem solvers can outperform
groups of high-ability problem solvers.
5. According to McKinsey, companies with diverse executive boards enjoy significantly higher
earnings and returns on equity.
6. According to Harvard Business School, multicultural networks promote creativity.
