phone ?
Dr. Martin Cooper of Motorola is
considered to be the inventor of the first
practical mobile phone
On 3rd April, 1973 Martin placed a call
to rival Joel Engle, Head of research at
AT&T’s Bell Labs, while walking the
streets of New York City taking on the
first Motorola Dyna TAC prototype.
Mobile telephones had been introduced
by the American Telephone & Telegraph
Company (AT&T) in 1946
