In this slide we can explain about 1) Heart parts
2) Heart muscles
3) Blood circulatory system
4) Cardiac action potential
5) Heart problems
6) Blood pressure measurement techniques
12. Heart attack
• A heart attack happens when oxygenated
blood stops pumping into the heart.
• The oxygenated blood cannot get to one part
of the muscle, causing it to die.
• A person is having a heart attack their heart
does not stop beating.

15. Stroke
• A stroke is a brain problem. There are three types
of strokes:
• 1- the ischemic stroke which happens when an
artery in the brain becomes blocked.
• 2- a transient ischemic attack or (TIA), also known
as a "mini stroke" because it only temporarily
causes the arterial blockage to the brain.
• 3- the hemorrhagic stroke which happens when
the artery actually ruptures inside the brain.

17. Cardiac arrest
• Cardiac arrest is an electrical problem.
• Heart's electrical system suddenly becomes
chaotic.
• The heart is an electrical organ that regulates
beat and rhythm.
• That is why an irregular heartbeat could lead
to cardiac arrest.
• This causes the heart to stop beating.

21. Cardiac Action Potential
• Electrical impulse is produced from
pacemaker cells .
• SA node is primary pacemaker.
• Cardiac myocytes helps in contraction &
relaxation of heart.
