Wales has implemented several programs to support its transition to a low carbon economy: 1) It has enabled over £465 million in cost savings and emissions reductions of over 5.9 million tons of CO2 for Welsh businesses. 2) It has stimulated over £83 million in capital investment and awarded over £18 million in interest-free energy efficiency loans. 3) It has strengthened the Welsh economy through jobs and engaged over 6,100 people in low carbon skills workshops.
