This document discusses engaging all generations in the learning process and examines generational cohorts' learning style preferences. It suggests that generations are shaped by the times and environments in which they were born and live. The document reviews empirical data and research on how generational traits impact perceptions of work and learning design. Suggestions are provided for making learning experiences more inclusive and accessible to all generations by using adaptive and game-based design, facilitating mentoring, and addressing different learning speeds and abilities.

Why can’t we make it easier to be accessible?
Why can’t we aim for great user experiences that are also accessible? Creating accessible technology has to go beyond minimal compliance with standards that meets the law but may not be usable.
We need a bigger goal: creating delight for everyone. We’ll start by exploring what makes a delightful experience and how a good balance small pleasures and anticipated needs supports accessible UX in both big and small ways. Like any UX, this concern for users has to be part of every design decision.
But we also need to think about what it takes to make this happen. It means incorporating a wider range of people into user research and usability testing, and making accessibility a core requirement, not an afterthought. But most of all, it takes tools that are designed to support accessibility. We’ll look at some of the progress… and some of the failures that hold us back.

If you’ve ever worked with teams trying to solve complex problems, at some point in your career seen them jump too quickly into solutions, seen decisions being made only on assumptions (that ended up being wrong), or not being clear what problem they were trying to solve in the first place
In this session at UX India 2021, we dive on Problem Framing and Reframing, with useful tips to:
- Ensure you’re solving the right problems.
- Raise the awareness around decision biases that prevent us from digging deeper.
- Look outside the frame before considering the details.
- Use lateral thinking to disrupt stagnant thought sequences.
- Challenge you to reframe problems

Dan Szuc is a Principal Consultant at Apogee and Josephine Wong is a Co-founder of Apogee and Design Researcher.
At the UXID2014 conference, they talk about how to work smarter. Here is what they said about the seminar:
"The opportunities to work differently is upon us today and terminology like innovation, creativity, collaboration, lean startups and disruption are used generously, but what does the really mean in today's reality of work? This presentation will look at the human qualities, tools, project experiments and organisational systemic design needed to encourage healthier and smarter work that gives people a real chance to make a better future for all people. It will also challenge our current notions of success, the way we work, how we want to work as balanced with other important life priorities and whether the current measures we use can scale forward appropriately."
