Proposal
Product - The aim of The Mind Gardens Project is to make sure children in Jamaica are getting the
essentials they need such as food and water. Establishing sustainable, organic community gardens
that would provide fresh fruits and vegetables to children in the underserved communities of Trench
Town and Tivoli Gardens.
Target Audience – The target audience for this charity will be people that are living in poverty and
need essentials such as food and water in run down cities in Jamaica such as Trench Town and Tivoli
Gardens.
Campaign Message – The message of this campaign is that nobody should be living in poverty; there
is enough money in the world for everybody to eat and drink healthily, so why are people living in
these conditions?
Launch Date – The Mind Garden Project was launched in Kingston, Jamaica in late 2012.
Schedule of Advertisements – I will take photographs for my advertisements on the 23rd and 24th of
January

Legal and Ethical Issues:
Copyright –The Mind Gardens Project need to be careful in case they breach their rights and copy
other people
Trademark –The Mind Gardens Project have their own logo which is 2 hands holding a growing
plant, this is their logo and nobody else can use it, their logo is what makes people recognise them
Codes of Practice–I must be careful in case I offend anybody on the grounds of race, gender,
religion, sexual orientation, disability and age, I need to be tasteful and sensitive to the public and to
the target audience.
