This document describes several types of camera shots including tracking/dolly shots which move with the action using wheels, steadicam shots which follow movement in a handheld way to give a first-person perspective, zoom shots which use the camera lens to move closer or further from an object for dramatic or dreamlike effects, crane shots which provide an aerial view from high above using a camera mounted on a crane, pan shots which pivot the camera horizontally to follow movement, and trombone shots which first track closer and then zoom back out.
