MEMS for Energy Scavenging: preliminary results

CambridgeIP has teamed up with MEMS expert Henne van
Heeren to produce a report for the IPMKTN on recent MEMS
patents.
!! The report, due to be published soon, will augment the
IPMKTN's report titled "MEMS Recent Developments,
Future Directions”
!! An area of special focus in the report is MEMS
technologies for Energy Scavenging.

The next several slides summarise preliminary findings, which
should not be relied upon for any purpose or to make or
refrain from making any decision.
Our Deliverables contain data extracted from publicly available
sources, such as patent data from Patent Offices’ databases.
We accept no liability for the accuracy or completeness of the
data provided to us from such sources.

report which the client used for a freedom to operate analysis. In addition, the
client identified little known areas of application of his technology, and
improved his understanding of who the key inventors and assignees in the

ended. The consultancy faced a tight timeline in which to develop a patent
