This document discusses a student project to raise awareness of and prevent bullying. It outlines 5 questions about bullying, including how and where it occurs and who can stop it. The students plan to create and sell pens to collect money for an anti-bullying charity. They discuss using the color red and an Xbox symbol to represent bullying and how even small acts like texts can greatly impact people. The students hope to educate others that bullying is a serious real-world issue, not just a cartoon, and encourage standing up for those being bullied.

The most important metric you WON'T find in Facebook InsightsRob Clark
As presented at PodCamp Toronto 2014
Likes. Shares. Viral impressions. Organic reach. Clicks. Social media offers a wealth of analytic tools showing how people are interacting with your content. Tallies of eyeballs and counts of social gestures. Yet few brands or agencies are actually paying attention to the metrics that matters most in marketing and communications.
Come for a discussion as to what the most important thing that you're not likely tracking is, and walk out with some solid ideas and best practices of how to track it. Those with Math Anxiety, fear not. This is a session about getting answers and not crunching numbers.

1. Bullying
Guiding Question
What impact does bullying have on our
society and what steps can we take to
prevent it?
• By: Call F, David B, and Thomas M.
2. 5 questions we have about bullying.
• 1.How are people bullied today?
• 2. What can we do to bring awareness to
bullying and how can we raise money for it?
• 3. Where do people bully and when?
• 4. Who can stop bullying today and how can
they?
• 5. Why does bullying still go on today?
3. Perfect Pen Project
We have decided to create pens as a part of our bullying project. With these pens we
are going to collect money for a good cause to prevent bullying. We will give everybody
in the 5th grade a pen and then we will sell the rest on the website and give the money
toThe Boys and Girls Club of Greater Memphis. This club is for boys and girls who are
down on their luck and need more money. We hope we can raise a lot of money to try
and prevent bullying as much as we can.
our pen ^
Talk to us if you want one!!!!
5. Color, Symbol, and Image for Bullying
Color- Red symbolizes anger, fear, and rage.
We think that this is correct because when
people become frustrated your face turns
red and when someone is frustrated they
want to hurt you/bully.
Symbol- Our symbol is the XBOX red ring of
death. This symbol means that your XBOX is
dead and bullying can lead to the death of
your spirit.
Image- The text box on the iPhone and any
other phone is our image. We chose this
because it’s amazing that something so
small can have a huge impact on someone’s
life by bullying.
6. I used to think, But now I think…
• I used to think that bullying was just a big kid
punching a little kid in cartoons. Now I think
that it is people getting punched in real life.
Also, that people don’t just get punched, they
get sent cruel text messages, emails, and
phone calls. Kids get called names. They get
shoved, pushed, kicked, and punched. It's not
a cartoon. It's real, and we have to try and
stop it.
