AIRHES
A GLOBAL SOLUTION TO ENERGY,
WATER AND CLIMATE PROBLEMS
Andrew Kazantsev
THE ESSENCE OF THE PROBLEM:
non-renewable energy sources are finite in resource
and lead to irreversible climate change
The problem of lack of energy is now mainly solved through
the use of fuel reserves. Nuclear power plants, hydroelectric
power, renewable sources are used to a limited extent.
Hopes for thermonuclear energy are not justified.
The production of energy from renewable energy sources
(mainly solar and wind) requires significant capital investments
and accumulation. Calculations show that RES may not be
enough to prevent climate change.
The problem of fresh water shortage is now mainly solved by
desalination of sea water. This requires significant energy
costs and exacerbates the problems of energy shortages and
climate change.
1. PROBLEM
Global problems:
 Lack of energy
 Fresh water shortage
 Changing of the climate
Current price order:
 ~ $0.1/kWh for electricity
 ~ $1.0/m3 for fresh water
2. SOLUTION
We propose to use this energy,
which will quickly solve the
problems of energy and climate, as
well as provide all people with a
source of fresh water (11 times
greater than the flow of all the
rivers of the planet).
Approximately 1/4 of the energy
of the Sun goes to the
evaporation of water.
This energy is accumulated in
the clouds, and corresponds to a
power of ~ 800 TW, which is 60
times more than all the needs of
people around the world.
3. TECHNOLOGY
The main advantages of AirHES:
• Huge potential of energy and water
• Possibility of almost universal use
• Possibility of accumulating hydropower and H2
• Receiving simultaneously energy, water, hydrogen
• Reducing the energy cost by 1-2 orders of magnitude
• Prevention of impact on climate and ecology
• Technical simplicity, worldwide production
This problem is solved by the AirHES
project - the second (after the Sun)
global source of clean renewable
energy and the first - fresh water.

4. MARKET, PRODUCTS, APPLICATIONS
Market potential ~ $1000 billion
Potential products/services and target market:
1. cheap water (~ 1 billion people) - availability, coolness, high pressure, perfect
quality, low price (~ $0.015/m3 according to feasibility study)
2. cheap hydropower (~5 billion people) - availability, eco-friendly, unlimited
resource, low price (~ $0.003/kWh according to feasibility study)
3. cheap eco fuel (~ 1 "gold" billion people) - hydrogen for eco transport, like
natural gas for heating and industry, etc.
4. solution to the problem of global warming (~ 8 billion, the entire planet)
5. compact on the ground, modularity and mobility, use for WiFi,
telecommunications, video surveillance, high-altitude advertising, lightning
protection, climate protection, climate control, air defense, shading in hot
countries, etc.
We have already
spent ~ $35k on
research, patents,
etc. of our own
5. BUSINESS MODEL
Our calculations of the feasibility study and the complex model show that for
various options for the implementation of the AirHES, the payback period can vary
from a month to a year, and a typical ROI should be ~ 1000% or more…
This is easy to understand when you consider that the cheapest energy today
comes from hydropower, and AirHES throws away ~90% of capital investments in
hydropower, since it does not require the construction of reservoirs and dams…
We hope to be of interest to the state or a large investor who will evaluate the
prospect of AirHES technology, potentially comparable to a thermonuclear
program. It is especially promising to use AirHES to solve the problems of those
territories and countries where the problem of fresh water shortage is acute, for
example, Malta, Israel, etc. In addition, this breakthrough technology (as well as
other renewable energy sources) can be saving for the climate and ecology of the
entire planet.
6. COMPETITORS
For water supply purpose, this solution is unique and global. This is the only
solution that allows you to get perfect fresh water almost anywhere without
spending, but vise versa at the same time receiving energy.
Any other ways to get fresh water where it is not available are either local (like fog
collection systems) or require significant energy costs (like systems for condensing
water from air, desalination, evaporation, reverse osmosis, etc.)
For energy supply purposes, this solution ranks among other renewable energy
sources (such as solar and wind), but potentially outperforms them in terms of
technical and economic assessments and internal storage capabilities.
7. COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES
Why choose us? Why choose us с?
Why choose us? Why choose us?
We are the only ones who can get water where
there is no water for thousands of miles
around, although the nearest "well" is only a
couple of miles above our heads.
We are the only ones who know that each cloud
above our head is equivalent in power to a nuclear
power plant or thermal power plant, but whose
energy is much cleaner and cheaper.
Because our goal is not just to make a profit, but to
solve the problems of billions of people, providing
them with access to clean water and cheap energy,
as well as preserving the climate on the planet.
We perfectly complement our conditional
competitors (renewable energy sources), as
we can produce energy exactly when the Sun
is covered by clouds or at night.
8. CURRENT STAGE
We spent several years developing this idea. Unfortunately, this was not enough to bring
the project to a commercial stage. The project is currently on hold, although all of our
research is open and patent restrictions have been lifted.
This technology has been completely theoretically developed and partially confirmed by
full-scale and laboratory experiments, the necessary technical, economic and
engineering calculations, computer simulation and optimization have been carried out.
For its implementation, it is necessary to conduct R&D in the coming years, build and
test prototypes.
We assume that with the availability of funding, we (or any other group) could, within 2-3
years, bring the project to a real technical prototype of the AirHES with a transition to the
commercial stage...

10. FOR INVESTORS
We are looking for the minimum
possible funding for 36 months to bring
the AirHES project to a real technical
prototype with the transition to the
commercial stage.
If the state or the investor believes in
the prospect of AirHES, then it would
be ideal to receive serious financing at
the level of similar projects ~$3M
We deliver the entire project.
~$150k
Scientific

If the state or the investor believes in the prospect of AirHES, then it would be ideal to receive serious financing at the level of similar projects ~$3M We deliver the entire project. ~$150k Scientific prototype - $20k - 0.5 - 1 year R&D - mathematical modeling and field tests of various types of nets and kites (ideally, in the mountains, using orographic clouds) Prototype for water supply - $30k - 0.5 - 1 year Creation of a technical prototype for obtaining fresh water from real clouds based on a kite or kytoon (if successful, it can already be used for commercial purposes, for example, for Emergency water supply) AirHES technical prototype - $100k - 0.5 - 1 year Creation of a full-fledged prototype for power and water supply (~20- 50kW) based on a balloon or kite, designed for long-term operation (~10 years)
