National Bank of Canada partnered with Servo Annex and LinkedIn to train their wholesalers on using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and social selling. This allowed the wholesalers to position themselves as thought leaders and find new investment advisors. Wholesalers provided over 500 advisors training on using LinkedIn which led to over 250 new meetings. This digital transformation helped NBC attract new advisors, differentiate their wholesalers, and increase sales by over 400%. The partnership proved social media is an effective way for financial services firms to prospect when used strategically and within compliance guidelines.
