- 5. LINEAR SYSTEM's Flamerod sensor senses the ame using ame detection rectication technique. The Amplier provides a voltage for the Flame Electrode. The ame electrode is immersed in ame to sensed. The current thus generated by the ow of electrons through the ame to the ground is detected by the controller for presence of ame. The sensor senses only the burning ame and completely insensitive to visible light and refractory glows. It is best suited for sensing ame in Gas red burners. BURNER CONTROLLERS (For smalland medium sized industries) Models for Oil Fired Burners Controllers: For Gas Fired Burners Controllers: 710 - PR - MA (equivalent to MA-81O Controllers) sensing by LDR. 712 - PR - 24 - PI4 (equivalent to LOA - 21 & LOA - 24 Controllers) 722 - FR - P5, where the ame sensing is done by using Flame Rod. 732 - UV - P5, where ame sensing is by UV Sensor. The controllers are housed in an ABS plastic enclosure with overall size of 70mm(L)x110mm (B)x105mm(H). - 7. FLAME SENSORS FLAMESENSORS FLAME SENSOR FLAME SENSORS: Flame Sensor uses a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) for sensing ame. The ame sensor essentially senses the "Light" emitted by lame. It is usually suited only for oil burners in Boilers. It is not suitable for Furnaces, where background fefractory brich glows. These sensor senses all types of light, including Sun light and rays emitted by electric bulb ltube light. - 8. FLAME AMPLIFIER: FLAME EYE(FE-01) is a ame detector, which is sensitive to visible light. This used CDS (cadmium Sulphate) photo resistor as light sensing device. This is suitable for sensing ame in oil red burners. Amplier has two potential free relay contacts rated at 230V AC, 5 Amps.
