Bullying is unwanted aggressive behavior among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. It is repeated or has the potential to be repeated over time. Someone being bullied feels afraid, unsafe, upset, or embarrassed. Bystanders do not want to continue witnessing their classmate being bullied without intervening. Resources are available to help address bullying in schools and online.
