This study examined how gender, personality traits, and bullying situations influence people's perceptions of bullying and willingness to intervene. It found that: 1) Perception of bullying and willingness to intervene were significantly affected by the type of bullying situation. 2) Agreeableness had a significant interaction with bullying situation on willingness to intervene. 3) There were no significant effects of gender on perceptions or interactions between gender and situation. The study provides insight into bystander behavior but had limitations like a small sample size and self-reported data. Further research with larger and more objective methods is needed.
