Bullying is aggressive behavior that intentionally harms or makes others feel uncomfortable through repeated verbal, physical, social, or cyber actions. It often happens due to environmental factors, peer pressure, lack of supervision, attention seeking, dysfunctional families, or a desire for power. Those at risk include people with physical differences, disabilities, low self-esteem, poor social skills, or weakness. Effects of bullying include increased absenteeism, health issues, substance abuse, academic problems, communication issues, and sometimes suicide.
