- 3. UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY: The Academy is offering a fast-paced, six-day experience called Summer Seminar for high achievers who have completed their junior year in high school. Summer Seminar teaches you about life at the Naval Academy. Applications are now open and will close on March 31 st . See Ms. Dolan or Mr. Fong for details.
- 4. SENIORS: University of Hawaii Manoa is still accepting admission applications until April 1st . If you are thinking about the Manoa campus, make sure you apply ASAP. Also seniors, just a reminder that you need to update your Naviance page with your admissions results. Be sure to let Mr. Fong know about any scholarship awards.
- 5. JUNIORS: Interested in Engineering? The University of Hawaii’s College of Engineering is offering a 6 week program to high school juniors to work hands-on in their research laboratories. Interns will also participate in development workshops and group activities. See Mr. Fong for details.
- 6. NATIONAL COLLEGE FAIR: The Annual National College Fair will be held on Tuesday, April 11 th , from 5:00-8:00pm at the Hawaii Convention Center. Over 200 colleges will be in attendance. You can register ahead of time and receive fair details and print a barcode form to show the college admission officers. See your grad counselor for flyers.”
- 7. JR. HIGH MAY DAY DANCERS: Practice resumes today. An optional practice will be held tomorrow during recess for all those who need to learn the first 2 verses.
- 8. CHEERLEADING: Tryouts for grades 7-12 will be held during the first two weeks of April. No experience necessary. If anyone is interested, please contact Coach Cadey at (808)321-7838.
