3. S CLUB:
 Meeting tomorrow at 1:00pm, in Room A210. There will

4. OPEN HOUSES:
 HPU will be holding their Open House on Saturday,
February 17 th , at Aloha Tower Marketplace. Check-
in/breakfast is at 8:00am and the program starts and
9:00am. Register at www.hpu.edu/previewday.
 University of Hawaii Manoa: UH/Manoa will be holding
their Open House on Saturday, March 3 rd . See Mr.
Fong for flyers.

5. SOFTBALL:
 The first day of Varsity Softball practice is today,
4:00pm, at Ala Wai Neighborhood Park near the pavilion.
Girls should bring all their gear for practice and must be
cleared by the Athletic Office to participate.
 The head coach is Cara Hasagawa and her email address
is sadako744@gmail.com. A bus will be departing SHA at
3:15pm in front of the Chapel.

6. TRACK & FIELD:
 There will be a meeting tomorrow, at 4pm, in the
Conference Room, for all student athletes in grades 7-
12, interested in participating.

 YOU could be the next CYBER HERO! Are you interested

individuals exploring the world of cyber security. Gather a
team (1-4 high school students) and be ready to register

8. JUNIORS AND SENIORS:
 There will be a mandatory informational meeting today
during lunch, in Room A318 (Mr. Lyons), for those
interested in taking either AP Physics or AP Biology in the
next school year.
 You must be present to be considered for these courses.

9. SHA SCHOLARSHIP APP:
 The scholarship application form for School Year 2018 –
2019 is available at the Development Office or you can
access it on Edline in the News section of the home page.
One common application form is used for ALL scholarships
administered by Sacred Hearts Academy.
 Application deadline is February 28 th .

10. FINANCIAL AID 2018-19:
 Tested & Designed by Schools (TADS) applications are
available online at www.tads.com. Deadline is Feb. 28,
2018.

11. MAY DAY COURT:
 The This year’s tryouts will be a five day affair, and
practices will begin today through Thursday, February 1 st
(after Life Walk), from 3-4pm, in PAC-2 (Dance studio).
Those interested, must attend the first meeting in the
Dance studio today at 3pm. Practice will begin after the
meeting.
 Please bring a hula skirt, comfortable shorts to wear, a
white t-shirt, and a notebook and pen.

12. LIFE WALK 2018:
 February 1 st is fast approaching so we want to be sure
that everyone knows what the appropriate dress attire
is. Check with your homeroom teachers.

13. HEALTH ANNOUNCEMENT:
 Students, please refrain from feeding the birds anywhere
on campus as this practice poses a health problem with
their droppings on the grounds, tables, benches, etc.
 Your help and diligence is greatly appreciated!

14. LOST & FOUND:
 Please check out the HS Office if you’ve lost anything
on campus. There are uniform and non-uniform clothing
items, water bottles, prescription glasses, etc.
