If the schedule is followed, the finish date should be Wednesday 29th June 2016, but it will be delayed till Friday 1st July 2016. Due to it
being the start of the Summer holiday, it gives more than enough time for my target audience to spend some time playing. Although it
will be released during a time where younger audiences are free to play, the game is mainly aimed at the young adult audience due to
the nostalgia it could provide them.
The game will be running on the popular game engine Unity, as despite it having great features to support 3D video games, it means that
producing a 2D game should be easier to complete with how easy everything is, from the animation to the coding.

My game is going to be sold at a price of £1.99 and will be estimated to sell a grand total of about 1,500,000 copies during its lifetime.
Main reasoning for this estimate is due to it bearing close resemblances to the video game it was based on, Metal Slug, which was an
obvious hit during its age. However, this estimate only covers the amount of money the game will receive from the purchasing of the
game itself, and does not include the cost of in-game mini transactions which allows; players to purchase slightly more powerful
items/more lives, Z coins to have a change at receiving a random item etc., greatly increasing the playtime of the player and the overall
sales. However, the cost of porting the game over to other platforms, such as PC, would greatly increase the budget costs but can take
action later on in the product’s lifetime. Overall, the gross profits from the video, if the estimated amount is accurate, should result in
£2863500 plus whatever mini transaction money is earned.
