Keeping straight back
while sitting is also
key in being able to sit
for a long time. If the
back is not straight
enough, the long hour
sitting will make one’s
back hurt. Having a
small cushion
underneath help one
to keep the back
straight as the body
weight shift to the
front side more and
keep a balanced
position.

beginners as the pulse one can feel at the finger tips are so strong
that it can disturb one’s concentration in the stomach/chest’s
breathing movement.
Walking meditation is another method of
 meditation to develop concentration. One
   is advised                    to walk
  slowly                               to
     concentrate                on the
    movement of                 the feet
instead of the           chest or stomach.
When one is beginning the walking meditation
        practice, then it is best to keep the
mind focused on the movement of the right and
left feet.                              One say in
mind “left”                             when left
foot                                    touches the
ground                                   and say
“right”                                 when right
foot                                     touches
the ground. But such early practice should be
kept only for a short while as such practice is
rather easy and the mind wonder around a lot.
Once gaining momentum, one should switch to
concentrating in 3 parts of the feet’s movement.
  One could observe easily that before the foot
makes a                               step,it starts
with a slow                           rising of one
foot, then                            the foot lift
off the                               ground and
then it                               touches the
ground                               underneath.
 In doing so, one should move the feet slower to
 catch up with the three parts of movement and
           concentrate the mind there.
This practice help the mind’s concentration
quite a lot and one could gain momentum easily
 on concentration. Altering the sitting position
 one hour and walking position one hour helps
   one gain concentration easily and quickly.
Taking a break and visiting the meditation center
becomes a thing I enjoy doing very much to deal with
the midlife crisis and the day to         day work
stress we encounter everyday.             Meditation
practice gives me a calmness in            dealing with
stressful situations and                       when I
become unable to juggle right                  between
my personal and professional                  life.
Everyone knows when in meetings and during tough negotiations,
keeping collected and appear calm is important. When time are tougher,
it usually took me a while to             control my anger and appear
calm. Meditation practice help            me observe my anger arising
immediately when the anger                starts arising and observing
the anger seriously help me                   put away the anger and
Keep my calm. This                                   contributes a lot in
my important                                          negotiations.
Anger makes us say things we regret later.
Meditation help me in a way to know the anger
 arising within me and suppress the anger to
  prevent saying the things I will regret later.
Meditation in long hour sitting position as well as long hour walking
position makes me able to endure the pain and the heat which usually
attack the practitioner. Such endurance contributes in my daily life to
produce patience and positive outlook in things which in turn make me
achieve positively leading a meeting.
